She is also a qualified mediator specialising in civil, commercial, and workplace disputes.

As well as being a mediator, Sara is an employment lawyer, where she has developed highly transferable skills in negotiation, active listening, and problem-solving.
Her legal background enables her to grasp the nuances of each case quickly, while her calm and empathetic approach helps clients feel heard and empowered throughout the mediation process.

Sara has a prominent role in the Women Lawyers Division of the North East Law Society and over the years has contributed to local radio and TV reports.
She is also a member of the National Law Society, Employment Lawyers Association, Employment Tribunal Users Group, Newcastle law Society and is a volunteer mediator for Solution Talk and a member of The Dispute Resolution Agency.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, swimming, running and hill walking. She is also Level 1 Triathlon coach and keen to develop this.
