Resolve Your Money Dispute in 30 Minutes

Book a 30-minute online Blind Bidding session, facilitated by an Accredited Mediator and Lawyer, and get the chance to resolve your dispute fast.

Designed for money and damages claims (whether it's a personal / business matter, contract dispute or compensation claim), Blind Bidding helps find common ground without the stress of 'showing your hand'.

If your session doesn’t settle, the next step before litigation is mediation, where our expert lawyer-mediators achieve settlement in around 90% of referred cases.

Settle Quickly

No more endless back-and-forth. Resolve your dispute in as little as 30 minutes - or less - with a short, efficient and professional online session booked at your convenience.

Save Money

Resolve your dispute for just £100, and at a fraction of the cost of going to court. Even if no deal is reached, you'll still get proof you tried, which courts expect to see.

Stay In Control

You decide the figure you’ll accept or pay. Bids are never shared, only the settlement figure (if reached) is revealed. An Accredited Mediator/Lawyer guides the whole process to ensure it’s fair, clear, and professional.

The Easiest Way To Resolve: How It Works

1

Book A
Session

Book an online Blind Bidding session on the date and time that works for you.

You will receive a joining link and instructions ahead of time.

2

We Contact Counterparty

We contact the other party directly and invite them to attend Blind Bidding and/or Mediation.

We remind them of their duty under the Civil Procedure Rules to try to resolve disputes before litigation.

If they refuse to engage, we will issue a Certificate of Refusal to Engage and you can choose either a 50% refund OR 15 minutes talking with a lawyer.

3

Attend Your Blind Bidding

If both parties agree to participate, at the booked time slot you'll join a confidential online chat.

Each side can submit up to three rounds of blind bids, evaluated in
real time.

If the other side doesn’t engage or attend, and you choose to speak with a lawyer, your 15-minute talk will happen during your booked time slot.

4

Receive Your Result

If there is an overlap during bidding, the settlement figure will be the midpoint and both parties receive a Draft Settlement Agreement.

If there is no overlap after the third round of bidding, nothing is disclosed, and you’ll both receive a Certificate of Blind Bidding

This confirms genuine efforts were made to reach a settlement.

Professional Documentation
to Support Your Case

Whether your dispute settles or not, you'll receive professional documentation to help demonstrate compliance with the Practice Direction on Pre-Action Conduct and Protocols, where courts expect parties to consider Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) options first.

Draft Settlement Agreement (if you settle)
A clear, written record of the agreed terms, which you can adapt (as necessary) and sign to formally close the dispute.

Certificate of Blind Bidding (if you don't settle)

Shows both parties engaged in genuine efforts at resolution, even if no settlement was reached.

Certificate of Refusal to Engage (if no engagement)
Records when the other party has refused to engage in either Blind Bidding and / or Mediation, while demonstrating your commitment to seeking resolution.

Facilitated By An Accredited Mediator

Your Blind Bidding session is led by Stuart Lawrence, a qualified Barrister, Adjudicator, and Accredited Mediator with over 30 years of legal experience.

The process takes place in a secure online chat, where neither party speaks directly to the other, keeping things calm, confidential, and free from emotion.

The session is carefully managed to ensure it remains fair, transparent, and professional, so you can focus solely on your bids, confident the process is in expert hands.

Safe, Fair and Encouraged by
The Courts

Confidential

Bids are on a without prejudice basis, never disclosed to the other side. Only the settlement figure (if achieved) is revealed.

Risk-free
If the other party doesn’t engage, you don’t lose your whole fee. You can choose either 15 minutes talking with a lawyer or a 50% refund.

Encouraged by the courts
Judges expect parties to attempt ADR before legal proceedings. By us inviting the other side to Blind Bidding and / or Mediation, you’re showing clear compliance with the Pre-Action Protocol.

A Complete Dispute Resolution Solution
If your Blind Bidding session doesn’t result in settlement, the next step expected by the Courts before commencing litigation is to try Mediation. If both parties consent, we can help you appoint an expert lawyer-mediator from our national panel of specialists.
