Danielle is based in the family team of Anderson Strathern, advising clients in all aspects of separation, divorce, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements and the full range of child law issues including residence, contact and relocation.
She is an accredited family mediator and is collaboratively trained, offering clients a range of dispute resolution methods to resolve their family law issues.
She is committed to resolving matters away from the court setting where possible and achieving the best outcome for clients and their families with a pragmatic and straightforward approach.
She appears regularly in sheriff courts across Scotland as well as instructing Counsel in the Court of Session.
Danielle is a court appointed child welfare reporter and curator-ad-litem, preparing reports in cases involving adoption as well as in relation to disputes regarding the ongoing care arrangements for children.
She has a child focused approach to her practice as a result.
Danielle is a member of the Family Law Association, Consensus Scotland and CALM Mediation Scotland.
